i am looking for a grill/barbecue restaurant in or near saint-nazaire france.

I visited in 2003. we were working in the ship yards, and spent a nice day in a little area with a commons/park (not large) that we chose for adjaceny to a coin laundry. there was a restaurant with steps out to an outside grill/bar area. we ordered duck confit and it came right off the grill into foil bags and we went and ate it in the little square commons area. i have some photos and i "maybe" located the laundry (I am pretty certain these are the same place). there was some kind of street market set up on a sunday when we went if that helps.

my photos: (no, not adult, no idea why its saying that)

that's it. all i want is to find that duck confit again. i have a friend who is going to spend a few days walking around next week, and I will be there later this year (hopefully).

Best answer: I don't know how much this helps but at least some of your photos are from La Baule-Escoublac

See this place with the "Bienvenue au Marché" sign: 2008 Google Street View

Or here is the street scene with the Dunes Hotel and the Lethiec plumber:

Best answer: Additionally:

Here's the building that once housed "Bio Marina": 123 avenue du General De Gaulle

Best answer: Ack, I can't stop! Here's the house with the corner gable and the green shutters: Av. d'Alsace Lorraine.

There are two laundrettes but neither of them seem quite right - maaaaybe it could be Laverie de l'Ocean if they redid the floors between 2003 and 2008?

It looks like there was major construction in the marketplace area around ten years ago but there is a lot of Google Street View from 2008 that you could "wander around."
