I need suggestions for novels, films, songs, podcasts, and art related to Morocco. Resources in Arabic, French, and English are welcome! I love art history, history, and languages. Thank you!

Any and everything by Nass El Ghiwane, including the documentary about them, Trances. I saw them in 2004 on a European tour, they were mindblowing.

Where are you going Moshé? is a Canadian-made film about the exodus of the Jews of Morocco. I don't know how difficult it is to find a copy.

La prisonnière by Malika Oufkir is the fascinating memoir by the daughter of general Oufkir, who killed after a failed coup d'etat against Hassan II and the family imprisoned for 20 years before they managed to escape. Also available in English as Stolen Lives: Twenty Years in a Desert Jail.

Your question did make me think of The Process by Brion Gysin. Which, whew, that is one out-of-print book.
