Online source for funny greeting cards

I'm looking for funny birthday cards for my teen grandchildren and having a rough time finding something appropriate.

I will spare you my bad experience with Etsy greeting cards, but please don't suggest Etsy.

I've used Greeting Card Universe for Halloween cards, but for funny birthday cards, I have to go through 20 pages of "humor," 95% of which are jokes about aging, while most of the rest are either dirty, about drinking, toilet humor, or drawings of Donald Trump (kids are from a very religious family, but I don't like that stuff either). Every other site I've found has basically been the same. I'm not looking for teen-specific cards - as a former teen, I know how much those miss the mark. I'm just looking for something that is (a) funny, (b) not about aging, sex, or drinking, (c) not using what we used to call foul language, (d) not bathroom humor, and (e) not political. If there were something like a Far Side greeting card site, I'd be thrilled.

So do you have a good online source for funny greeting cards?

I always think of Sandra Boynton for this sort of thing (no experience with Zazzle but that seems to be her official outlet).

When I'm trying not to scandalize parents and niblings, but still crack a joke, I usually look in the Shoebox aisle. I didn't know you could get them online too, but that might be something to look at.

When sending physical birthday gifts, I've taken to just sending art notecards and writing happy birthday inside them and then supplementing with a funny ecard.

If you are willing to do that then then a friend always sends me Blue Mountain ecards and I think you could probably find things there. They have a funny birthday category (that leans to the silly side) . As an example, this is the most recent one he sent me - Cat meowing to the tune of "Happy Birthday to You".

Also seconding Shoebox for funny cards.

I turn to New Yorker cartoon cards for this - still not a perfect fit for what you're after, but they have a lot more wheat amongst the chaff than the rest of the contents of the "humorous" birthday cards aisle.

If you're in the US, Amazon have a few assortments: dogs, cats and more cats, and doubtless more.

Also... This is only really helpful if you have a lot of people you like to send cards to and they don't compare notes, because it looks as if you can only buy each card in a pack of 10 or 25, but the Conde Nast store sells a vast selection of New Yorker cartoons as greeting cards.

I really like the cards from Em and Friends and try to keep a stash around for mailing.

La Familia Green is a Chicago graphic artist (and, disclaimer, family friend) with a nice line of cards, some with Chicago interest, others general trends/memes, nothing heavy. They often feature their dogs, cats, and foster animals.

Gemma Correll does have some more "adult" ones but also has plenty that are not.

Nobleworks Cards is a site dedicated to funny cards. And while many do fall into your no-go category, you can search by many well known cartoonists ... many of them who fit your bill. While mine are in there somewhere, I would recommend cards from Dave Coverly for your needs. But poke around and I'm sure you can find something.
