Alexa Together: Pros and cons?

If you are using the Alexa Together service to help facilitate daily life for an aging, not-technically-inclined relative who lives some distance away, can you please tell me how it's working for you and your family?

This is a possible scenario: I have an older family member who's looking for an easier, less technically-/physically-challenging way to use a phone and a computer. This relative lives some distance away (so I need either to set it up before I send it to them, or be able to do some sort of remote assistance). I'm not an Alexa user but would be willing to install what's needed on my end. Can Alexa Together help me monitor reminders about meds/appointments? Has AT been user-friendly for your relative? How is it for you to use? What do you find valuable (or frustrating) about it? Other comments? Useful tweaks? How has your relative's experience with it been? Can one or more siblings be added into the loop? (If you have a better solution than AT, feel free to tell me about it.) Many thanks for your help.

At this point I would probably not invest too much time in an Alexa service. Alexa has lost Amazon something like 10 billion dollars last year alone, and they just announced that they are laying off 10,000 people, mostly in the Alexa space.
