I like this Sims 3 hair. I'm seeking both a name for this haircut and also photos of this hair on actual human heads with types 1-2a hair texture. Thank you!

I would call this a wedge haircut or a short bob.

I don’t know how to say this in a helpful or supportive way, so please forgive me. Tread carefully with asymmetrical bobs, as it can unfairly be labelled as a ‘Karen’ haircut. (Apologies to all Karens on MetaFilter, I’m confident you’re wonderful.) May Gen Z reclaim this cut swiftly and save us all.

Response by poster: I am once again here explaining that "karen hair" is bullshit misogyny. And I am a person who fully supports the use of "karen" as terminology. Karen is held in how you treat others, not in how you look. If you treat others well, no one will label you a karen, I promise.

The sim looks like they have a strong cowlick in the front and some waves all over to me. I think it might be hard to get that look with straight hair.

I'd call that a "wavy short bob with a side part." To my mind that's different than an asymmetrical cut. Googling that phrase brings up lots of images that you might like.

Best answer: As much as it grinds my gears to call anything longer than a few inches a "pixie" you might be best off searching "long pixie haircut wavy" or something like that.

Also, if you see a pinterest one you particularly like, scroll down the page - they've gotten pretty good at the "More Like This" section. For example, this might be even closer to your Sims image than the one I liked most.

Just want to chime in as someone with 1a-1b hair that this cut would look very different on me than on the picture. Maybe you’re more 2a than 1a and it will work for you, but I have learned through painful experience that the wavy texture integral to the look of these cuts requires a lot of product and curling, if it can be achieved at all.
