Toshiba FlashAirs, is this how I pay for retirement?

I have a couple of Toshiba FlashAirs lying around my house, and was just cleaning up my office. For a laugh I wanted to know what the going rate was these days, expecting pennies. And was shocked to see 16GB SD cards selling on ebay for over £100. And here is the Amazon listing. Anyone know what gives? Do they have an alternate use?

Best answer: Since the death of EyeFi, most of their cards ceased to work over WiFi, so the FlashAir is one of the few remaining options for WiFi-enabled SD cards that still work.

Seems like they can be used to wirelessly print to 3D printers, which may account for renewed interest in them outside of their original use in digital cameras.

Best answer: They also work great for CPAP machine data storage (accessible via WiFi to an analysis program like OSCAR).

No one is making a new product like this anymore. The only way to get one is to get an old one. Their primary market was cameras but that's mostly evaporated. As noted above, a few other devices can benefit from them.
