Best answer: I use AskMeta almost exclusively, but I filled out the survey anyway.

Best answer: At one point, at least, it seems like a lot of people mostly used AskMe--this seems like a good way to promote the survey.

I completed the survey. but I don't know the reason for the survey. What's going wrong with MetaFilter? What are the problems you're trying to solve? I read the "see this post" but it seems to assume that the reader knows that the problems are.
PS. I'm mainly an enthusiastic AskMeta reader/asker. Does that make the survey less applicable to me?
Maybe ... an issue may be conflating the various divisions of this site so it's not clear which division(s) you're asking about? I treated your survey as asking about the entire site ... although I mainly engage with AskMetaFilter.

Hi, sorry for late reply. I wouldn't say anything is wrong with MeFi per se, but the site has been having some finance problems, ownership is changing, and the site as a whole is shifting to a more community driven/run site. So a Transition Team was created to get that process started and one of the things we did was create the survey to gauge what users of the site thought about various issues.
PS. I'm mainly an enthusiastic AskMeta reader/asker. Does that make the survey less applicable to me?

That's an excellent point, thank you! Members definitely engage with the site in different ways, the survey is way to hopefully get a grasp of the various uses.
