Online resume builder/app/generator?

Can you recommend an online resume builder or app? I’m updating my resume, and the layout of it, in Word, is taking forever. I can’t be eternally fussing around with fonts, kerning, and spacing. There has to be an easier solution—can you recommend one? Ideally I would just paste the text in and it would spit out something beautiful…
I hired a local graphic designer to format mine for $50 and it looked amazing. I found her on a community group.

If LaTeX is in your skillset, there's some very good LaTeX resume templates out there. I've been using one I found online for my last four jobs. Beautiful typesetting without you having to worry about the details is the core feature of LaTeX, though if you've not used a script to generate output from marked-up plaintext before, it can be a learning curve. I run a TeX distribution on my PC, but I believe there's online TeX renderers these days, too.

I wonder if something like Resumey.Pro (https://resumey.pro/) is what you're looking for? It's a resume generator where you input your content in Markdown, then you can choose a bunch of different templates for output in different fonts, colours, etc.
(I came across this on Product Hunt-- there are a few other resume generators linked in the sidebar there, too: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/resumey-pro-2-0)
Good luck in your search! :)

See if your local public library provides access to Brainfuse/JobNow--it offers resume templates and feedback on your resume--you can access it at home under your library's membership and it's FREE with your library card.

Best answer: I used Creddle for this the last time I was job hunting. It's pretty easy to use, my favorite thing about it is that it dynamically resizes everything so it always fits on one page.
