Help me remember this stretchy t-shirt brand

Maybe like 10-15 years ago I found a black, fitted, women's scoop neck t-shirt made of a really flattering stretchy spandex fabric at a thrift store (U.S.). I could swear the brand was something like "Active" and they used to make sort of stretchy vaguely athletic basics in neutral colors.

Over the years with many moves the t-shirt eventually disappeared so I can't just check the tag. Googling variations on "Active" and stretchy/spandex t-shirt isn't turning anything up.

I vaguely recall trying to look the company up many years ago and they were maybe sort of marketing to dancers or ballet? I feel like they didn't really have much of a website as if they didn't do a lot of direct to consumer sales.

Anyone know what brand I may be thinking of?

I don't know the answer, but if they weren't a direct-to-consumer company, you might look for them at a wholesaler like S&S Activewear. On their brands list, the ones that stick out to me are Anvil (which is a pretty general apparel company that has a wide range of products) and Alternative (which IIRC was making stretchy stuff around that time). I also remember Bella doing a lot of marketing toward dancers at that time.

This is probably not it, since they have a huge web presence, but Gap sells a line of women's stretchy basics called Athleta. They do sell black, scoop-neck tees.

Everlane?

Gah I know exactly what you mean now. I have one too and I love love love it
But it has no brand marker in it. (And my cat has put two little micro holes in it the little bugger)

Response by poster: Would have bought it close to 2007 so definitely not a newer company like Everlane or Athleta.

Lululemon? Their older clothing was branded "lululemon athletica" and in the early days of yoga clothing their quality level was startlingly ahead of the pack and that quality really stood out if you found their items in a thrift shop.

Best answer: Danskin? Turns up at thrift stores near me pretty regularly and I think they used to have a line called "Danskin Active".
