Short stories about a birthday? April 13, 2006 6:03 AM Subscribe
Can you name short stories, preferably from the classics, about a birthday?
I just read this anthology of "Birthday stories" by Haruki Murakami and was quite disappointed. Can you recall a short story happening on a birthday? No children books, please.
"A Small, Good Thing" by Raymond Carver centers around a birthday cake and an unfortunate birthday... Nothing else comes immediately to mind, though. posted by graymouser at 6:10 AM on April 13, 2006
