Can anybody help me get in touch with relatives in western Ukraine

Due to various reasons, including the inability to read and write Ukrainian (although we have family members who can speak it), we've lost touch with relatives in western Ukraine. Speaking to people with family in nearby areas, we think are relatives are safe for now--as far as we know. But we'd still like to get in touch with them. And we can use some help.
We have mailing addresses. Or we had mailing addresses for people who were alive a number of years ago. Our elderly relatives may have died, but there is good reason to believe their offspring are still living in the same small villages.
Assistance from somebody who knows the area (or is in the area) would be great. Outside of that, somebody who can read enough to see if there is a telephone directory or a census to help us look people up. Maybe somebody can put us in touch with a local librarian who might be willing to lend a hand.
I don't want to post their addresses in public, but would be happy to share them privately. I've only got limited Internet access these day (due to some major computer issues), but I'll try to check in once a day for the next little while.

My mother was a young girl , seperated from family; a displaced person at the end of the second world war.
She thought she was an orphan.
Took 30 years and several countries ,but her surviving family eventually asked the Red Cross.
Who tracked her down, and to her surprise reunited her with her surviving sisters.
The Red Cross runs a service called Restoring Family Links
Hopefully you won't need to use it.
But the Red Cross worked for my Mom

Sorry to double post but here's a bit more from the Red Cross:
If you are seeking a family member and you have exhausted all means available to you, the Red Cross can help you
and Red Cross Messages:
Under international law, all people have the right to know the fate of their loved ones, and to correspond and communicate with family members. The Geneva Conventions of 1949 established the Red Cross as the provider of protections for prisoners of war, detainees, and civilians impacted by war. That includes tracing, communications, and family reunification.
