Reenactment request/tents

I am trying to find patterns/instructions for an 18th century wedge tent. The search terms the person gave me are 1750 tent smithing and 18th century wedge tent. I can find online companies that MAKE authentic tents, but no one that is offering plans, patterns to DIY one. I would like to find a free pdf for my person but if someone can point me to a forum or website that I could copy and paste, that would be great!

Best answer: Townsends This site specializes in reenactments from that era.

Best answer: This download (which I have checked) is for a 3D printed model of a wedge tent, you might try to contact the person who uploaded it to see if they have information but they definitely give the time period when it would have been the dominant model. That does have a different look than the way this one is described for Civil War reenactors (more of a long a=frame). This one has that same "long A" shape and more description of how to build it (feel free to MeMailme and I can get you the full PDF if it seems useful)
