Patreon podcast player please?

I've joined my favorite podcast's Patreon thing and now I can download a ton of extra content via that app. But after having gotten used to listening to podcasts on Spotify, I miss being able to change playback speed, queue up multiple episodes, start from last position, etc. What Android app can I use for these downloaded mp3's that will let me do that kind of stuff?

I do not need an app to download/stream things, as these are only available to stream via the Patreon app or to download.

Best answer: Apologies in advance because this is not totally answering your question as written, but I think it answers the question of "how can I listen to Patreon podcasts in a podcast app instead of the Patreon app?"

I subscribe to several podcasts on Patreon, and they all provide a custom RSS link that includes all of the Patreon episodes, but it's a little hard to find if you don't know where to look for it. In the app, the link is under the individual creator's page, then "Overview" > "Get audio RSS link". On the web, it's under the individual creator's page, then "My membership > Private RSS link". Once I have that link, I just add it to my podcast app and it works like a normal podcast.

For an actual app suggestion, I really like Pocket Casts. I'm not sure if it can play already-downloaded mp3 files, but it can definitely add/play the Patreon RSS feeds (unlike Spotify).

I used Pocket casts for years but have recently switched over to Google Podcasts and just added my Patreon rss feeds to it and it works great.

I use Podcast Addict for access to Patreon feeds and any podcasts that I subscribe to. The free version is great with what ads they have to support being minimal and non intrusive.

I use PocketCast myself.

Yeah, just to be clear, there is probably a feed for the Patreon content that a podcast app can hook into. For Pocket Casts (my preferred app as well) instructions are here. Check the Patreon page to get the private feed address.

Response by poster: Thanks for the tip about finding the RSS feed. It turns out it works with BeyondPod, which I bought the pro version of years ago. I'll use that!

While you have a solution, I've been using Podcast Republic app for years and love it. Highly recommended!
