Silly question about Google Meet on iphone

I'm using Google Meet for work meetings and sometimes it shows the clock and other times it doesn't. It would be really helpful for me to be able to see where I am in the hour without looking at a different phone to check the time. Am I missing something obvious?

If your problem is full-screen app and no clock, can you swipe top-down to tenporarily see one?

If your problem is a timer for the duration of the meeting, is the host a free Google account or paid Google Workspace? My paid Google Workspace account had unlimited Meet sessions for a while, now capped at 24 hours and this has changed in the past year due to lockdown and social distancing.
