How Many College Applicants to US Colleges?

I am looking for statistics about college applications.

Main question is how many college applicants were there for United States colleges last year (or any recent year)? Also, what percentage were from foreign countries? What percentage were accepted? And what percentage ended up going to 4 year schools vs. 2 year schools?

Any information on this topic is greatly appreciated!
