How do I appraise and sell a domain name?

At the start of the pandemic I bought a domain name for a possible project. I have not used it, and I think the domain might be worth some money. How can I sell it and get the best possible value?

This is a 9-letter .com domain. It is a pun that starts with a very-high-frequency pandemic word and changes one letter to create a catchy music-related portmanteau. I have linked to the domain from my profile. You can look there if you want to see exactly what the domain is.

The domain would make a good brand foundation. I also own the .org and a couple of social media accounts using the same name (Twitter, but not Facebook).

I don't think an automatic tool would properly value this domain, because it wouldn't understand the word play or the timeliness. I'm also concerned that just throwing it up on an auction site won't reach the actual people who would want to use it.

I'd appreciate any help on figuring out how to appraise / market / sell this thing.

Thanks.

Well, you could start by putting up a page at that URL that says you're willing to sell the domain and here's how to contact you.

I sold a nifty domain name over 10 years ago. I put up a simple page and was patient. I did not use my primary email, the email I used got gobs of spam.
