Online community for UK teens

My daughter is immunosuppressed, and is really struggling with the isolating we are having to do, especially as we move into winter and her opportunities for outdoor meet-ups are going to become more scarce.
I have never been good at interacting in online communities, always tended to lurk, so wondered if there were any places that you could recommend!
She is passionate about the environment, feminism, and all kinds of injustice, especially relating to LGBTQ+ Issues (she is bi) and disabilities (she has arthritis).
She is also very interested in fashion and making, and is intending to be a designer or costume maker. She is currently making dresses from patterns, and has made me shirts, if that gives an idea of her level.

My friend's 16-yr-old daughter is in exactly the same position, with almost identical interests to your daughter. She'd be happy to get in touch with her. I've MeMailed your her details (with her and her mum's permission).

Thanks very much both!
Yes, she is active on insta, but only in a very passive way. I'll definitely pass on the #, though!

A good place to start right now might be redthreaded's current #fallforcostume challenge for October, where participants post costume work according to daily themes. It's a lot of fun to see the work and also how everyone interprets the theme!
