Online writing forums and communities?

Looking for online fiction, non-fiction and creative writing communities and forums of all kinds.

Just looking for online communities where you can give and receive criticism and just generally chat about writing and publishing (self or otherwise).

Looking for friendly, open communities with high standards for quality and a reputation for useful criticism, though I'll settle for two out of those three!

What I'm interested in:
YA Fiction
Literary Fiction
Non-fiction
Memoir/biography
Historical Fiction
Essays
Long-form journalism

What I'm NOT interested in:
Fanfic
Poetry
Erotic writing

*If there's a community that encompasses some of my non-interests in addition to my interests, I won't run screaming, as long as it's not ALL erotic fanfic poetry.

Try Zoetrope. Seems to fit the bill pretty well.

AbsoluteWrite.com. I'm IceCreamEmpress over there.

Speakeasy at Poets and Writers.org. I can't remember if I'm IceCreamEmpress or Sidhedevil over there; I lurk there far more than I post.

For general chat about writing and publishing, I vote for Absolute Write -- the forums there are invaluable.

I liked writing.com... though I haven't been there in a while and I can't speak for the quality of it anymore. When I was there, I got some useful criticism from them.
