Facebook, move all friends to restricted profile

Can I move All of my 2500+ friends on Facebook to restricted without doing it one at a time? - alternatively is there a reputable company I can hire to do this? Triggers make doing it by hand painful. Treatment of triggers is underway but resolving this quickly will be a big quality of life boost

Here are instructions on how to use javascript in the browser to unfollow everybody at once. I've never tested it.

With 2500 "friends" I'd probably just declare FB bankruptcy, shut the account, and start over.

Response by poster: Apologies if I was unclear- Unfollow pertains to what I can see from them on my timeline. Restricted profile pertains to what they can see on mine. I can’t delete the profile because of work and survival reasons.

Is this something that could be partially helped by editing other settings - changing old posts to the "only me" privacy setting and editing what's visible on your profile? You can hide your list of "likes" and your friends list and so forth, and if you "save" FB events rather than RSVPing to them then no one can see that but you'll still get notifications about them.

Response by poster: Indeed, cowbell, I have my Facebook set up so that all posts are public and thus I can limit past posts with one button - and then from the point of view of my friends, who are mostly on restricted profile, my profile appears empty. The last step is getting those last few friends I may have missed onto the restricted list!

I am willing to pay someone trustworthy to do this.

Thanks all for answering so far!

Maybe you could place a gig ad on Metafilter Jobs and find someone from here?
