Cool Canadian sheets

Wirecutter recommends LLBean Percale sheets. A queen set is $275 in Canada. Help me find cool crisp durable sheets for $150 or less?

I would have a look at some of Simons' offerings. I have a few sheet sets from there (bamboo and flannel sets, not cotton -- so I can't recommend a specific set), but I've been pretty satisfied with the quality.

Here you go, from the Vermont Country Store. These are the best sheets I've ever owned; they are super-durable and crisp and cool. Queen is USD 120 + shipping to Canada.

I also bought Simons bamboo sheets about 2 years ago and they have held up great -- very smooth and cool. The only issue is that the white ones are slightly see-through. If I bought another set I probably wouldn't get white.

Also, I recently bought a set of IKEA cotton/tencel sheets which I like quite a lot, but I've only had them for a few weeks so can't say how durable they are long-term.

I love my cocoloco sheets, and they last a long time

Costco sells Kirkland Signature 680 Thread Count 6-piece Sheet Set for $109 in Quebec. (Blue and Grey are the only colours available at the moment. I recently picked up a set in California and was very pleased with them.

Costco also has several couple of other sheet sets available.

With the current sale, a queen set in cream at LL Bean costs about $200CAD (from the Canadian site). Which may still be too much--just pointing out that your numbers are off more than you may realize.

Queen is USD 120 + shipping to Canada.

Note that US$120 is about CA$163, and thus does not meet the poster's requirements even before international shipping costs, which are generally not negligible. :(

IKEA sells cotton Queen sets they describe as 600 thread count called ÖKENSTJÄRNA for CAN$79.99. I'm not a sheet expert but I think they're pretty great value. Mine were doing well after a year, when they got stolen from the laundry room. I’ll be getting more.

Percale is so nice and cool and crisp in hot weather. I have some percale sheets from Pottery Barn that I really like. Looks like Pottery Barn Canada sells them for about CAD 175. However, West Elm under the same corporate umbrella sells them too and theirs are CAD 146.

I really love the Peru Pima sheets. I don't know what the objective standard on crispness is, but they are a high quality sheet
