How do I play a Scrabble-like app with friends without Facebook login?

Some friends want me to join them on the Scrabble GO app, but it seems to require Facebook credentials to use. I don't want to allow Facebook to have any connection with my phone whatsoever, even through a third party. So can anyone recommend either 1) a Scrabble-like app for iOS that lets you play with friends and doesn't require a Facebook login, or 2) a way to play Scrabble GO or a similar game on the web (on my laptop)?

Words with Friends 2 has an option to create an account using email instead of linking to Facebook.

I used to play on ISC and didn't remember the name. Thanks PhoBWanKenobi. It has been years but it worked well for me at the time.

I play ISC all the time, the big deal is that the games are live so you're playing at the same time and I think it's just two-player games. There's a whole "You can play with randos" aspect to it but me and my guy just use it to play with each other.
