What can help me rapidly sketch scene ideas in 3D?

I need to make scenes to make a memory palace.
It doesn't need to be pretty.
It doesn't need to respect copyright since I'm the only one using this.
But it does need to be QUICK.
Is there a Unity3D level design plugin to rapidly add objects from Thingiverse/GrabCAD/Google Poly?
What can I use to do this?
Ideally, I would like to be able to view the result in Virtual Reality.
I have Gravity Sketch VR and this can import .obj files. If I could import into Gravity Sketch to view everything that would be great.
There is MunxVR for this but it's very awfully designed.
There's also RumiiVR but typing with a VR keyboard is very slow and it has a very low object limit.
There's also MozillaHubs but you need to type with a VR keyboard and cycle in and out of VR to get things done.
I have OSX, Oculus Quest and can rent more powerful Windows PCs if needed.

Best answer: There's a unity add on that let's you browse and add things from poly: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/systems/poly-toolkit-104464.
If you want to export from unity as an app, I would use whichever VRTK sample is closest to what you want and just modify the level.
I'm afraid it's Windows only, but the best app I know for throwing things together in VR is Sketchbox and it has a built in Poly search and import (I'm hoping they might do a quest native version, but no sign yet).
