Delay notification of email

Gmail has filters that let you move all email matching a set of characteristics into a certain folder. Gmail also has a "snooze" function that will mark a message as read until later, when it returns to your inbox. Is there a way to do both things at once, i.e. delay notification about certain messages until a specified time?

This pairing of functions isn't supported within Gmail (i.e. "snooze" is not one of the actions you can take on a filtered message, unless I have missed a setting somewhere). But it seems like a goal that should be achievable in some fashion.

If you need a use case to get creative, let's imagine I'm a subscriber to a listserv for Spongebob Squarepants fanfiction, but I'm trying to set reasonable boundaries on my habit, so I'm looking to hide all messages from myself until Saturday morning, which is my prescribed nerding hour, and make them reappear in my inbox at that time.
