It's my bag

My original style MEC sling pod from 2007 is going into retirement. MEC's replacement version has been cheaped out so I need something new. Hope me.

My new bag should cover as many of these as possible.

Sling style
Phone pocket on the strap.
Water bottle pouch on the outside.
Theft proof or theft slash deterrent
Waterproof or some material amenable to being baptized in Scotch Hard

Capacity - My EDC is my wallet, makeup bag (sometimes x2), hairbrush, charger. Random small cruft. Snacks.

I think I paid CAD 14.00 at the time for the existing one, so the longevity for the price was fabulous, but I want a little more to this now. My budget has a ceiling of USD 75.00.

Can't link on my phone, but what about The North Face Electra Sling? I see a lot of people wearing an Osprey sling bag - that might be a good less-fancy option.

Also, I feel your pain re: the old-school Sling Pods. There are very few sub-10 litre shoulder packs available anywhere anymore.
