I plan to go to a Lights for Liberty protest tomorrow. Do you have any sign ideas?

I think it's not the time for complicated. Liberate the camps. Free the caged children. Impeach the president. Something like that. Demand a positive action.

A US flag.

See you there! (In spirit). My sign says "ICE SHAMES US" on one side, and "I WAS A STRANGER AND YOU TOOK ME IN" on the other.

Since we're taking our four-year-old, I made a small sign that says, "FREE OUR FRIENDS!" because that's more or less how I'm explaining what's going on to my kid.

For last summer's depressingly similar protest, my signs said, "FAMILIES BELONG TOGETHER" and "RACISM IS NOT PATRIOTISM."

I went with
We Stand With Immigrants
#NeverAgainIsNow

(SIDE TWO)
"The Cruelty is the Point"
~Republican Party 2019, Embracing Fascism
#EndtheCruelty #CloseTheCamps

(I do think it is more important to show support to the people suffering, rather than just angry insults about this administration. But then I could not resist a little of the angry.)

I've got a "Fight ignorance, not immigrants" sign from a previous protest that I'm considering 'recycling' for tonight, though I might update the other side to include a supportive message like Glinn suggested.
