Instagram linking to some wrong, random new Facebook feature ?

How do I get my Instagram to post to my Facebook page again?

It’s been not working for a couple weeks, and today I realized it’s because it’s been sharing all the photos I’ve selected “share to Facebook” on to a whole other Facebook page called “[my Instagram name]” that seems to be just a random page about my IG page that people can “like”. I have no interest in that but am not bothered by its existence. However. Now I am. No matter what I do - including going into settings and taking it off sharing to [instagram name] and selecting for it to share to my profile...multiple times... it just... won’t. Can someone offer any help?

Yes I’ve turned it off and on. ;)

Best answer: I had this happen when I started a Facebook business page, then tried to start a business Instagram account, which then made Facebook generate some random new page and link everything Insta to that!

What I did was unlink Facebook and Instagram (go into your Insta profile, tap settings, scrolled down to Linked Acount, and under Facebook tap "unlink").

Then I went to Facebook, looked at my profile, found the auto-generated page and deleted it (go to the page, click settings, scroll down the list and click the "remove page" option),

And then I went back into Insta and relinked Facebook. And now everything works. Hope this helps!
