Which credit card has the best purchase protection?

So with a change in my income, it's time for me to do a little CC consolidation. So that means one travel/restaurant card to get the most points, one hotel card for where I stay the most and one card to buy physical items with that protects them. It had been the Amex Platinum for that and travel, but I need to give it up. So what's the next best credit card with purchase protection?

If you're a Costco member, their Citibank Visa is crazy good. It offers 2 years added protection for stuff bought at Costco.

Otherwise, The Points Guy is usually pretty spot on with his advice.
