Recommendations for a textbook on orchestral instruments?

Recommendations for a textbook on orchestral instruments to prepare for the ABRSM music theory exam (Grade 4 / Grade 5) ?
This would be used to prepare specifically for the questions on orchestral instruments and orchestral scores, as a supplement to the Eric Taylor textbooks.
When I was a music theory student many years ago, I used a very good reference book by Roy Wilkinson to prepare for the orchestra-related sections of the ABRSM theory exams. My US-based friend studying for the Grade 4 / Grade 5 exam is looking for something similar.
I know there are quite a number of books about the orchestra out there, but this book was tailored for the ABRSM syllabus, and I was wondering if there is any similar book nowadays, that is available in the US.
