Absolute best hair care product for a lazy person?

Since starting to work from home, I've become extremely averse to dealing with my hair (beyond washing and conditioning it). It's long (about 6-8" past my shoulders), cut in very long layers with no bangs, and fairly fine-textured but there's lots of it. When I let it dry on its own, most of it is wavy and nice, though it's unfortunately flat on top and tends toward a bit of frizziness/flyaways.

When I worked in an office, I'd generally blow it out straight or wear it up. However, now I'd like to find some kind of product that I can just throw in my hair when it's wet and forget about it. Something that will accentuate the waves, keep it from frizzing, but also look natural (not stiff or greasy). Does such a product exist?

I use "Calm That Frizz" from Aussie. You don't need much, it controls the frizzies/flyaways, and isn't stiff or greasy. I also use their Dual Personality shampoo & conditioner, and that helps keep things under control, too.

Frizz Ease serum (which is full of silicone) is truly amazing. Give it a shot. Only use a tiny bit though.

Kiehl's Silk Groom or their Hair Thickening Lotion do this- when I had long hair, I was addicted to the latter.

I never shampoo or condition, just wash in warm water in the shower, towel dry and run a bit of Kiehl's silk groom through. I be lookin' good ;) My hair is pretty short tho...

I love Tigi Catwalk Curls Rock Leave-in Moisturiser.

My hair sounds exactly like yours. With this product, I comb a small (one or two 'squirts') through my hair when it's damp, and it dries in soft waves.

The following day, if I dampen my hair lightly (with a sponge or something like that, not under a shower) and scrunch it then leave it to dry, I get curls, not as tight as a corkscrew but lovely loose curls.

I use Be Curly, by Aveda. I put it in my hair after towel-drying it and scrunching it. It accentuates my curls, keeps the frizz away, and doesn't give you that "crunchy" look that reminds me of the 80s. Plus, it smells yummy - not too fruity like a lot of products.

essexjan, that looks like something for me to try! I've been letting my hair grow out for the first time in years, and it's wavier than I remembered...so I've been looking for something that will help the curl when I don't want to blow-dry it. thanks!

Aveda Elixir is also good, it's a leave-in conditioner that calms frizzies without making your hair look dead.

I love love love Rusk's Smooth Down Butter Treat leave in conditioner! I have curly hair that tends to frizz and this really helps.

Be Curly by Aveda is great...and recently I've really enjoyed Fructis' Long and Strong "Anti Split Ends Treatment" it makes my hair still be curly, but also smooth and not crunchy. I just put it in while wet, and leave it alone and normal waves/curls occur.

Response by poster: Thanks all for the suggestions! I will pick up a couple of these suggestions and report back if something works phenomenally well :)
