Christmas getaway in the Pacific NW

We are a collective of people - 4 adults, a baby, a tween, and 2 dogs - and we want to do something driving distance from Seattle and Portland the weekend before Christmas up to Christmas Day. What should we be looking at?

There is an unexpected need to be out of the home where we normally celebrate Christmas, and even the (well-behaved) dogs need to be out.
Any suggestions for a cabin or something for such a collection of people? Names of towns, specific links, whatever...
And yes, I realize that we are pulling this together at the last minute.

If you can swing it, the cabins and the landscape at Kalaloch are always lovely.

Are you trying to do/see something different? Because Vancouver, BC is gorgeous, even if it's just kind of a nicer version of Seattle. I don't know what it will be like during the holidays since I've only been there in the summer, but you can say you went to a whole other country. I'm sure AirBnb will have options in British Columbia for you.

(plug) Whidbey Island is not usually too crowded for holidays, and it's GREAT for dogs-- we have several great HUGE off-leash places (including a long beach, a hilly farm with great views, and two fully-fenced areas of several wooded/fields acres) and leashed dogs are welcome in Langley (and you'll see lots). There's lots of rental cabins around.

Doe Bay on Orcas Island is lovely and dog friendly, plus hot tubs, a fancy and delicious restaurant, and pretty views.

Seabrook is close to the coast and has some lovely, dog friendly vacation rentals!

If you're more into the mountains, try out Suncadia, also dog-friendly.
