Name that tune, emo rock edition

I've got a song stuck in my head, and the only line that I can remember is the chorus which repeats the line "You are here." Male vocals, alternative-emo rock, came out in the late 2000's, probably before 2010.
The basic theme of the song is that the world is crazy, everything sucks, but it's all going to be ok because the man's love is with him, hence the "You are here," chorus. I can't turn anything up in googling. I heard this on the radio in Texas, so it could have been a local band, but it was played on Clear Channel stations, so I don't think it was that obscure at the time. I need the Metafilter magic, this is driving me nuts!

Response by poster: More the former full band *emotions*, that's a good way to describe it! Not Dave Matthews, unfortunately.

Both kinda long shots for non-college radio, but both roughly of that era, and maaaaybe? More space-rock, but verging into anthemic-emo: Litmus (UK), You Are Here. More doom-y, yet mellow: Woods of Ypres, You Are Here With Me.

GIve ‘em Hell Kid by My Chemical Romance?
It’s a stretch, but the chorus has the line “If you were here, I’d never have a fear”
Could you elaborate on how the vocals sound/name a similar sounding band for reference?

Yes please, a similar-sounding band would help! Anthemic? Angry? Loud/quiet/loud?
Example of possible loud/quiet/loud candidate (again, probably a little too college-radio-y and more east coast): Breaking Pangea, Lullaby

Response by poster: Not angry sounding, but it's in the vein of The Killers, All-American Rejects, The Bravery, along those lines.
