decent sources for remanufactured/rebuilt honda engine

hi guys. so. I know this is a controversial topic - are rebuilt engines worth it - but that isn't my question. My question is, does any one know of any suppliers of rebuilt/remanufactured honda engines (including passenger vehicle engines) that come with a decent warranty? Has any one had any good, so-so, or awful experiences with any particular vendors of said item, eg honoring or not honoring a parts/labor warranty, when it came down to it? My bar isn't that high, just thought I might find a way to make this decision a bit less of a jab in the dark. thanks bunches..
I have purchased several of those "JDM" imported pulled used engines over the years (two for Honda Civics, one for a Subaru) to repair cars I bought with blown engines. Two out of the three engines were fantastic, and the other one was fine, but not amazing. (Minor oil consumption, nothing to get too upset about, it lasted many years.) I think the vendor was "Eric Japan." I tend to believe that a factory assembled used engine (whether imported from Japan or just out of a domestic junkyard) is often better than a run-of-the-mill rebuild, and considering that many of today's engines are less than halfway through their service life at 100K miles, the concern about buying a "used up" engine isn't as significant as it once was. YMMV.
