But, I don’t want your *#&$@% mobile site

Is there any way to get around Facebook’s redirect to the mobile site?

Suddenly, today, Facebook has begun redirecting me to the wretched mobile site. Up until now, I’ve always hit the desktop site with no issue, so this appears to be a new thing. I’m using Safari in iOS 11 on an iPad.

(and, good lord, is the mobile site horrible. I can’t believe people actually use it)

I use Chrome and select the option to request desktop site.

Hold down the refresh icon in the address bar until you see a pop up for “Request Desktop Site”.

Whoaaaaa...
I had no clue that was a feature. It appears the request doesn’t stick, but it’s sure better than nothing. Thanks!
