What weighted blanket should I buy?

I'm interested in a weighted blanket, but am having trouble choosing a specific one. I bought this HomeSmart one for my partner and they really liked it, but then found it was leaking its tiny glass beads and so had to return it. What now?

We're unsure whether the leaking beads in the HomeSmart blanket is a design flaw or whether it's a rare defect and we should just get a replacement. Only one review mentions the leaking issue out of about 80 (ReviewMeta thinks ~20 are legit), so I'm not sure what to think.

We've also looked into the Gravity brand blanket, but it has fewer reviews, so I'm not sure whether it's more likely to be good or not.

I've got this version.

It's got small pockets to distribute the weight, and I've never had any issue with it leaking.

I bought one from Bed, Bath & Beyond that I like. It's a little light at 12lbs, but was cheaper than most I'd seen and the super soft removable cover is lovely.

FWIW Fakespot gives the quality of reviews on the HomeSmart blanket an F.

Have you seen this list by the Strategist?

I bought one from Red Barn Blankets two years ago and have had no problems. Lots of fabric choices too.

Mine is from Weighting Comforts and I love it. Had it about 5 months, no issues whatsoever. Also, I like their ethics.
