What pralines are like Lidl's easter ones?

At this time of year, Lidl has milk chocolate eggs which are filled with hazelnut or almond praline, which I love. I'd like to find similar that I can get year round (in the UK).

It's a sweet and smooth praline; ingredients on the almond one says 26% ground almonds. Hotel Chocolat milk chocolate pralines are good, but not quite right. I'm open to all suggestions!

Have you tried the GuyLian chocolate seashells filled with hazelnut praline? You can find them in every supermarket.

I'm not in the UK so I've never tried Lidl, but Cote D'Or makes smooth praline bouchees, if you haven't tried them already.

They're sweet and smooth, there's no hazelnut 'bits' in it or anything. The praline is almost a bit dense, and creamy. It's definitely not a soft airy praline. I like them, and much prefer them to Guylian, (I find Guylian too sugary) especially the Cote D'Or white chocolate bouchees. There's a contrasting taste between the exterior chocolate, and praline, and that's actually why I like them so much.

They should sell these in the UK, at Selfridges and you can also get them on Ebay and Amazon UK Also, it looks like some UK based chocolate specialty stores also have them also, there's one called 'Friars' and a few others.

Lidl also does its own praline seashells, which might well be made by the same company that makes the mini-eggs.

Hi!
Why can't you try to buy Lidl online?

Tori88, Lidl doesn't sell online. And the mini-eggs Vortisaur refers to are seasonal, for Easter only.
