The place where the seagulls circle, hoping to find some fish in the sea

Does anyone recognise these lyrics to a song I heard while in a shop? (QD if you must know - and it might be helpful).

Female artist. Little bit twee (no offence meant). If I remember rightly, the chorus revolved around the repeated lyric, "the place where we grew up."

Searches have come up with no success so far so I thought I'd throw it out here and see if anyone knows what I'm talking about. Thank you.

I'm not familiar with the song, but one thing that strikes me is that the line you quote is quite similar to a famous 1995 response to a press conferenc by Eric Cantona "When seagulls follow the trawler it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea". It seems just about possible that this is an intentional reference, which might be a clue to tracking down the song. Not much, I'm afraid, but maybe it can help the hivemind...
