Is the DVM audio format actually the same thing as Dolby Digital/AC-3, or does it just use the same WAVE Format ID?

Response by poster: The WAVE Format ID being 0x2000.

Are you sure that they have the same WAVE Format ID? I think Dolby AC3 is 0x0092.

Response by poster: It seems to be both. 0x92 is marked "AC-3 SPDIF", and 0x2000 is just "AC-3"; I don't know if that means anything.
