Away mode for Wink 2 Hub?

I want to set up an "away mode" for my Wink 2 Hub, so that it will do a number of actions when neither my nor my partner's phones are on our home wifi network (router is an Apple Airport Extreme, if it matters, and one phone is on iOS while the other is Android). Crucially, it needs to run only when *both* phones are offline, not just one or the other. I haven't been able to figure out how to do this using the Wink app or IFTTT. Any ideas?

Best answer: I believe the Skylark application can do this by hooking presence detection into IFTTT, if both phones are iOS. They do not currently have an Android version, but one is promised. If/when it comes out, it will probably offer a path to achieving what you're looking for.

Response by poster: Thanks, Doomsey. I realized after the fact that I should've been directing my googling more towards geofencing than wifi status. Skylark looks like it'll be a good solution when it becomes available. I also found this article.

At the risk of being a bit chatty, at one time I actually tried doing almost exactly what you proposed here i.e., attempting to determine presence by looking for whether one or more of a set of phones were present by pinging their WiFi IP address. It didn't work very well. As it turns out, as a power optimization most phones will turn their WiFi off and idle on the cellular network for notifications, and my system kept losing track of them when they went to sleep.

Response by poster: Prior to this setup, I had an Almond+ router/smarthub combo that made this condition very easy to set up and it worked almost flawlessly, but it's possible there was something about the hardware that made it work especially well. Anyway, not much lost if I can't get this to work anymore, just some extra peace of mind that doors will auto-lock, etc.
