Any Afrikaans speakers in the house?

I need to transcribe a very brief statement made by Nelson Mandela in this video at 17:32. I have most of the statement figured out, and I know approximately what he is saying (he translates afterwards) but my decades-old Afrikaans isn't good enough to properly transcribe the last few words. Can anybody help?

Well, my Afrikaans isn't great and I'm also struggling with those last words, but for what it's worth it sounds to me like:
"Aangename kennis, Koos. Ek hoop van harte dat een dag, ek de geleentheid sal krijg om met [ie??] te gesit [maybe gaan sit?]."
"Nice to meet you, Koos. I hope from the heart that one day I will get the opportunity to sit with [you??]."

Aangename kennis Koos. Ek hoop van harte dat eendag ek die geleentheid sal kry om met u te gesels.

You could add commas where he pauses.

To clarify the changes from col_pogo's version:
u = the polite form of you
gesels = chat, talk, discuss
