Why a cake is "the best one you ever tasted"?

There are cakes and "the cake". I bake sweets and all kind of desserts but because there are so many flavours you can choose from I am not sure which one is the best cake ever. I like chocolate cake , Dobos Torte or the faimous Sachertorte.
