The odds are good, but the goods are odd

Recommend me books/articles where women are on the only or few of them in a hobby/career/sport.

No preference on careers/hobbies other than it should be less about in my face advertising like Corperette was OK except how everything was always some kind of ad/promo/sponsership deal. Then Fashion/IG/Pininterest were fine but I got tired of the same-y fancy travel plans and brand loyalty problems along w/sales. Thanks.

I will read blogs, books, and news articles. Also, I'm not too crazy about comics as I'm aging out of my former hobbies orz.

HEMA (historical European martial arts). In my personal experience, there aren't a lot of women doing it, though I've certainly always felt welcome. There's a lot about it online. Search HEMA.

(Are you looking for articles specifically about women? The one I linked to is not.)

I had a little difficulty interpreting exactly what you're looking for but I think you're looking to read about women in careers, sports, and hobbies that are traditionally predominantly male. Sorry if I read your question wrong.

Look for articles about women officials in professional men's sports:
NFL: Sarah Thomas
NBA: Lauren Holtkamp
NHL: Heather McDaniel

There are also relatively few women in professional poker. Though there are a number of recognizable, formidable names, only one has ever made it to a WSOP Main Event final table. There are numerous articles online on the subject.

Yes, this is my main intention with the question. Sorry, if I ended up with a confusing question.

If it doesn't have to be recent...
Books on the women involved in the US Space Program: Rise of the Rocket Girls; Rocket Girl; The Mercury 13; Almost Astronauts; Hidden Figures; Promised the Moon; Women in Space.

Linda Greenlaw's books are about being a woman in commercial fishing. I still use her phrase "crew problems" all the time.

There's also Victoria Coren in poker, her book is reasonably good.

In running, First Ladies of Running gets a bit samey, but has some interesting insights into what it was like running at a time when women didn't get to compete in any Olympic races longer than 800m (literally because the authorities were worried their uteruses would fall out or something), and had to sneak into marathons. Kathrine Switzer's Marathon Woman is good if you want to go deeper into her story.

In sports, Danica Patrick and Manon Rheaume come to mind.

This is not an article, but a poem about baseball: The New Kid.
