Eisenhorn: Misunderstood or heretic?

I read the omnibus but nothing else. The question seemed open at the end. Any new developments?

He uses Cherubael full-time which is pretty fuckin' heretical. As of Pariah he acts to protect friends and dear ones but his position in the great game for mens' souls is kept intentionally uncertain. Ravenor definitely thinks he's a heretic.

He is a fabulous example of ends justifying means, and he is definitely a heretic.
