Are there official poster graphics for advertising March for Science?
February 25, 2017 12:27 PM

I want to put up posters around my institution to raise awareness of the upcoming March for Science. No posters seem to be available from the official shop page. I've mailed the organizers but haven't received a reply. I'm willing to print my own posters, and now am looking for suitable graphics.

I'm looking for something that is reasonably official (or official-looking) that will scale well to 11x17" prints. I can work with any graphics format.

This should be fine for an 11x17 print:
dark background
no background

I pulled the image from a zoomed in t-shirt preview.

@gregr thanks for those files.

I was unclear that I was hoping to find ready-to-print posters rather just logos. In the end, I created some myself using the high-res graphic you found (and the high-res logo was useful for that – thanks!). Here's what I came up with for the Los Angeles march, in case anyone else would like them:

• Tabloid size for Los Angeles
• Letter size for Los Angeles

(Files are hosted on CloudApp. Note that the colors in their previewer look wrong, but the downloaded PDF will contain color profiles and should look better outside of the CloudApp widget.)

I welcome suggestions for improvements. I plan on creating versions for Santa Barbara as well and will post them here too.

Do not use the above; use these instead. Shortly after posting the above, I discovered there is a custom URL for the LA march that I swear previously only went to the march's facebook page. Now it's a full website with much better information. Here are updated versions of the posters:

• Tabloid size for Los Angeles
• Letter size for Los Angeles

(Files are hosted on CloudApp. Note that the colors in their previewer look wrong, but the downloaded PDF will contain color profiles and should look better outside of the CloudApp widget.)

Finally, please note these are not official posters. They are just my attempt to start advertising around my area.

Some updates for anyone coming here:

• The March for Science LA has official flyers available for downloading.

• I updated my version of the flyers slightly to fix a font issue. They're freely available via Dropbox including the Adobe Illustrator originals.

IMHO, the official flyers are more attractive but use colored backgrounds and a lot of color, which can be an issue if you are printing a lot of copies on inkjet printers. (I know, because I did.) So you may still find my alternative flyers of some value.
