Is there a tool that allows you to compare the 2016 US presidential polls versus this point in time in previous years - in real time?

I could have sworn that Real Clear Politics did that, but it might have just come from looking at this 2008 vs. 2012 chart (I'm failing to find the equivalent for 2012 vs. 2016, but maybe if you search their site more you could).

Daily Kos managed to get this sort of chart out of the Huffington Post Pollster site: Comparison chart.

electoral-vote.com will show you the vote map for the current day in the 2012/2008 election cycles. It's in the box to the right of the map.

Yeah, this wouldn't be that hard of a chart to create manually, you just need a list of poll results for all of 2012, and the results up to today, and a plan for handwaving about Stein and Johnson. But given how interesting that view of the data is, it's surprising that none of these nifty web tools seem to support it.

I've tried a bit, and damned if I can figure out how the Daily Kos writer got that chart out of Huffington's site. Pity, I'd love to bookmark it for the sake of my sanity.
