How can we securely share Outlook calendars between companies?

A company has an public calendar in Outlook. This contains business important data.
How can it securely share that with other sites/companies that also use Outlook?
Security needs to be 100% here, so security via obscurity (a public URL for example) isn't going to cut it unfortunately.

Another possibility is for company A to setup a bunch of accounts for company B on their Exchange server, and have everyone at company B add a new account to their Outlook profiles.
Maybe just a semantics issue, but by definition, a Public calendar can't be shared securely.
