Free, woman-directed porno online?
I have recently discovered that woman-made porn is much more satisfying than skin-slappin', fluorescent-lit man-made movies filmed with hand-held cameras: the actors are better looking and more convincing, the environments are better organized (fewer ugly flowered couches), there is a focus on all characters and actions rather than just the woman and her boobs jiggling, and the dialogue is much, much better written.
I found a couple of directors online but googling mostly led me to adult video sites selling these movies, often for upward of $60. Where can I find easy, free (or at least cheap) porno made for-women, by-women on the internet? Torrent searching is, of course, leading to nothing and it's not exactly easy searching for a niche genre of porn using keywords on google. Help!

Given that you're concerned about things like dialogue, it seems as though you're after free full-length porn on the internet. Unless you're willing to download these movies from bit torrent and such, I don't think you'll have much luck getting this for free. Of course I'd gladly be proven wrong by anyone else.
I don't know much about paying for porn, but something like videoz.com -- which allows you to download videos on demand and do things like search by title and studio -- could be a solution. By the looks of it, it's packed with the kind of porn you don't want, but you can browse their selection before buying to decide if they have any of the titles you've seen mentioned elsewhere. I can't vouch for their reliability though, but someone else might have used it.
If you really want free porn, and don't care if it's just short 60-second clips, websites like free6.com and pornolizer offer little thumbnail images so you can easily avoid going to sites with porn that you know you won't like.

Some of the titles listed by women on Blowfish's page are in the $20-$40 range.
In Chicago, early to bed is a women friend sex shop. Perhaps you could get recommendations there, and they have a rental section.
People have recommended Greencine to me because of its selection of anime movies. I just checked, and it has an offshoot for adult movies. cool, a netflix for porn.

I don't think it has anything to do with the gender of the director, rather the quality. Cheap porn will look cheap, and that's just the way it is. If you want any quality you're going to have to either pay or pirate.

Getting what you describe for free is unlikely. Free internet porn is not about porn or sexuality, it's about harnessing the power of the male limbic system to make men do things they might not otherwise to: click on links to pages with advertisements.

Toys in Babeland's DVD section has a category for women-directed (maybe not free, but....might help narrow down titles to look for online?)

Presuming that you are talking about movies, I don't think that you'll find a great deal of high quality woman directed/oriented porn online for free. But if you are interested in exploring a number of different titles for a fairly small amount of money, I'd recommend looking at adult dvd rental services.
Violet Blue has a good write up about different services on her site. She works for Good Vibrations in SF and is a pretty well known sex positive blogger and author.
You might also take a look at Fleshbot. They cover all sorts of porn, but have a pretty nice playful bent that I enjoy. You'll find links to at least free previews of lots of different types of material.
