Hello metafilter!

We just brought home a new cat from the shelter today. He's a small, young, tuxedo who's simultaneously playful and a love bug. Here's a photo.

He'll be joining our other tuxedo cat, 7yo Maggie, who is still pissed that we're revoking her old child status.

We're thinking maybe a human name, to jive with maggie, but are open to anything. nick-namable names are also nice.

Thanks, hive mind!

For a playful tuxedo, pretty much anything from the Jeeves-and-Wooster-verse. (Name list here.) Easily compromised dignity? check. Absurd schoolboy nickname? check. Evening attire? check.

E.G., Bingo Little, Stilton Cheesewright, Hildebrand "Tuppy" Glossop...

I don't know why, but for some reason he definitely looks like a Simon to me. "Who's a good little kitty? Simon's a good kitty! Yes he is!"

- Andy or Mandy or Lin, short for Mandolin, because he makes your heart sing. Or Sandy, short for Sandwich.
- Chef, for the apron on his front.
- Mint, for the eyes.
- Tom, short for Tomato
- Also I think he would do well with a name that starts with the letter Z, so I asked Wikipedia and they provided a list of Z names (all Christian but they still sound cool).
