Getting her back from the dead presidents

Looking for songs where the girl (or boy) is telling the boy or girl who left them - even though the two had found true love - for an opportunity to be financially or societally secure - to come back to their relationship and to real love.

Not really "come back to me" as much as "you should be jealous," but Avril Lavigne's "Sk8er Boi."

Well, there's this - same theme, but told from the point of view of the jilter rather than the jiltee. Traditional Irish ballad covered by Planxty and Richard Thompson among others.

"That Would Be Enough" from Hamilton:

Alexander Hamilton: Do you relish being a poor man's wife, unable to provide for your life?
Eliza Hamilton: I relish being your wife [...] Just stay alive, that would be enough.

Doesn't have the financial aspect, but "Come Back from San Francisco" is a lovely song in this general theme.

Two Princes by The Spin Doctors

You marry him, your father will condone you
How 'bout that, now
You marry me, your father will disown you
He'll eat his hat, now

Marry him or marry me,
I'm the one that loves you baby can't you see?
I ain't got no future or a family tree,
But I know what a prince and lover ought to be,
