Pimp my patio

I am moving to an apartment in NYC with a private 1,500 sqft patio. I'd like to make it awesome. What are some cool/fun/unique/amazing/outrageous things you would put out there or do with it? Open to all suggestions (inflatable hot tub, tiki bar, etc.).
Water feature (with fish?), fire feature, and an outdoor bed for lounging and the ultimate guest room.
(Portable hot tub could be way too heavy. Be careful!)

This is so womp-womp, but I'd check for restrictions first.
When I lived in Brooklyn, my neighbors and I all had direct rooftop patio access from our apartments and each slice was as big as one of our apartments. It was dreamy & it effectively doubled our space in good weather.
My neighbor planted this absolutely fantastic rooftop container garden, with sunflowers that were eight feet tall, giant palms, greenery several feet high, with these great chairs and an area rug. It was beautiful. When you sat on the furniture nestled in the center, you couldn't see past all the leaves. A pure oasis in the city. Landlord got a look at it, declared the potted plants were collapsing the roof due to the sheer weight of them, and evicted my neighbor just like that.
So: I'd plant eight-foot sunflowers and a bunch of palms. But I'd ask first.

When I was pimping out my patio I bought an inflatable spa for around $500 and maybe $15 a week in power costs. It was awesome for about 5 years. Worth every cent. You just need an outdoor power outlet and a hose. Vodka, music, sorted.

Also, outdoor, weatherproof, sunshielded bean bags.

If we're talking no budget limits, I'd go with one of those hanging day bed things, sort of like this, but yours will need a frame: hanging daybed. Then I would add a few of those hanging basket chairs. A misting system is a great idea! And the tub or pool, if it's not too heavy. You're also going to need a bar, some nice string lights and how about a telescope?
On the low-budget tip, I would start with sidewalk chalk, lawn chairs, at least one umbrella for optional shade, a cooler and umbrella drinks.
