String art pattern from the 70's

How can I get my hands on this string art pattern from the 70's? I'm trying to finish my fella's present and I have it 95% completed (from photos alone) but I can not figure out how to the last few parts (top wing layer and the bird head and body). If anyone knows where to find this pattern it would be much appreciated.
Have you checked your local library for string art books? Might luck out with a matching tutorial.
